Festival Director

Eve Studnicka's work focuses on the creation and exhibition of media arts in the Midwest, with an emphasis on feminist and minority programming. She strives to challenge the coastalization of artistic community and develop platforms that empower artists in the Heartland. She has worked in administration for film festivals throughout the Midwest including the Chicago International Movies and Music Festival, the Women's Film Festival, the Midwest Independent Film Festival, and DocYourWorld.

Parrish  is the Director of Operations for the Driftless Film Festival and also the Director of the Mineral Point Opera House. Attendees can meet Parrish as he presents on stage at Driftless and shares one of our nation's national treasures, the Mineral Point Opera house.

John ChristensonJohn
Associate Director

John has called the driftless region his home for almost 20 years. He has always had a passion for the arts and started drawing and painting at a young age and continued his creative endeavors from then on - most recently taking up aerial photography and videography. When he has some spare time, you can often find him outdoors hiking or fishing with his family at one of his favorite spots: Governor Dodge State Park.

Director of Submissions/Shorts Programmer

Catherine Woods is one of Chicago's premiere Special Effects Makeup artists. Her hand-crafted FX work has brought a touch of chilling authenticity to everything from Chicago Fire to productions at the Lyric Opera. When she isn't crafting flayed corpses and flesh wounds, she can be found painting in her studio or moonlighting as a production designer. She is excited to lend her sharp eye for quality, story structure, and diversity to Driftless' ever-expanding program.

Bill Webb
Web Development/Graphic Design

A native of Louisiana, Bill and his family moved to Mineral Point via Saint Louis in August, 2007. He and his wife, Susan, designed the Driftless Film Festival website, as well as websites for several area businesses. An avid fan of independent films, Bill is thrilled to be working to support Driftless.

Nate lives and works in Dubuque, Iowa as a software developer and camera store employee. He loves technology, photography, movies, and beer.
